"Beech Hill Pond is beautiful, and this cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed and more! The view is stunning, the access to the lake is perfect and allowed us to take advantage of kayaking, boating, and just taking in the beautiful surroundings on the deck. The kitchen had everything we needed, the linens were plentiful, and we loved the small touches like s'mores supplies being available to us, extension cords available to charge our phones, fans available in each room (the air conditioning in the main living areas worked wonderfully as well). The owner was responsive and helped us secure a pontoon boat as well. We really didn't want to leave. We made sure to spend at least a full day just taking in the scenery and being outside on the property. Sunrise is beautiful! The other days included day trips to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and more! Thank you for a wonderful week in Maine! Highly recommend!"

"The property was perfect for a several day trip to Acadia. We were two couples and kids and there was room enough for everybody. Everything was clean and all the expected amenities were there and great. The only negative for us was the the downstairs bed was super soft and uncomfortable - but I also realize that's a subjective thing. Some people like soft beds. We didn't get to use the kayak or canoe cos it was too cold but they had all their paddles and looked like they would have been fun to go out on."

"My husband, miniature schnauzer and I had the best time at Cabin Beaver!!! Location - remote, secluded, peaceful, private, safe, easy to get to. Cabin - meticulous, well equipped, comfortable. The stairs to the loft are steep, but doable. Outhouse - spotless, odorless Outdoor shower - hot, great pressure, reliable, fun to shower outside Many activities to be had on the island and many spots to chill as well!! Coffee on the east side with the rising sun, early swims in the fog rolling off the water surface, kayaking the back marsh and exploring, bird watching, reading in peace on west facing deck, sunsets, firepit, grilling and cooking with ease. The owners, Jennifer and Jack, stay on the island, and are the best hosts. Friendly, but you never see them if you choose not to. Their dog River is an amazing dog and a good girl! She let our 20 pound schnauzer boss her around, and they both loved running around the island unrestricted chasing each other and exploring. Our dog had the time off his life being off leash the whole long weekend and we are so grateful for that! We will definitely be back, what a special place!"
