"The view is the only reason I would stay here, never had a more beautiful peaceful view but even that has cons. Pics make it look like you can walk out to the river, you can’t, steep drop off. Still beautiful blue river to gaze at. I understand this was affordable for us due to these cons but here they are. The cabin is rustic, needs a good remodel. "We stayed at this cabin for 2 weekends this summer. Will consider renting again. One was for my son's birthday celebration on 8/9/24 and another was for my new family after our wedding on 8/30/24. We really like this location and river swimming location. Many tubers passed by us while there. The cabin is will stocked with dishes, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, fridge, cooking stuff, utensils, cups, etc. which we appreciate in addition to games to enjoy. "We had a lovely long weekend here, sitting on the riverbank, lounging on the couch and watching TV, soaking in the hot tub, and cooking. Pretty buggy during our stay so definitely pack your bugspray or light a citronella candle on the deck."

"A long, winding, well kept, narrow gravel road is the preamble to this wonderland in the woods. My 2016 Mazda CX5 made it just fine. High mountain peaks dotted with snow frame this lovely home. The only things that could have been better were that there was no AC so we had to sleep with the window open and the noise from highway 2 was a bit loud since it’s close to it.
