"This is my 3rd time staying at this specific hotel & because we travel with multiple family members, we choose the same room each time (the 2 bedroom suite). This room is perfect for up to 4 people & very spacious with a smaller kitchen area, large living room space & fireplace, & separate 2nd bedroom area. The hotel itself, is very clean, located in a nice area, not too loud, has a friendly staff, & excellent, free breakfast! My only complaint is with this room, specifically. The last two times we stayed, the a/c units don’t work properly. We don’t mind the noise (which is pretty loud), but we do mind the dampness when we wake up! Everything feels damp, from the sheets, to the desks, to our bags, etc… Other than that, we would stay at this hotel again"

"A quiet cabin at the end of a private drive... super secluded and NO through traffic. Perfectly located between West Jefferson, Boone and stunning Blowing Rock with nearby Moses Cone "Flat Top" home off the BRP.Lows in the low 50s and highs in the mid 70s in the middle of August! And wow, daily picture-perfect sunsets from the ridgeline overlooking a valley and Christmas tree farm. Be sure to be up around sunrise and watch the fawns & yearlings playing in the front yard. So amusing! Owner made contact before & during our stay (but not intrusive) just to make sure all was well... it wasn't... it was PERFECT! LOLThanks Paul for offering us your cabin for the week! Will certainly come back."

"What a cool place to go! Phenomenal property with great views, nice flowing water sounds, and the cabin was perfect. We had a great visit here and enjoyed exploring the stream, fishing the stream, cooking out on the grill on the porch, s'mores over the fire pit, and the kids loved the hot tub to play in. The cabin had all amenities and some needed to just show up and live for a few days. We were impressed with what all was provided. The host was very responsive with just general questions as well. My two sons said they give the cabin more than a 5 star rating so that tells you how much it was liked. Was a long drive on the road coming in to get out and about to explore but was totally worth it for us with what all you got and the amazing property that was provided. Will definitely consider coming back when we go to the mountains again. Thanks for providing a great place to vacation! Until next time!"

"The first thing our 8-year-old granddaughter said when she went into the cabin was it's like fairyland. It is a nice place out in the country, especially for a 6 and 8-year-old who are used to living in the city. They enjoyed the tire swing and the swing attached to the tree very much. There is a nice view from the the wrap around porch on the back. My wife and I enjoyed playing ping pong in the basement. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook a nice meal. The outside grill is charcoal so if you're planning to grill out you need to bring charcoal. If you are planning to go to tweetsie railroad or mystery Hill, they are conveniently close by."
