"We have stayed here before and have always been very happy with our stay. The room was great, the bed was very comfortable and the brand of shampoos and lotions provided are great. The only frustrating thing was the booming music that came from the room above us as it lasted all evening until after midnight. This needs to be addressed. People don't care that they are disturbing other guests with their loud music. "

"We only stayed overnight because it was a last minute booking ( delayed planes, traveling with a 2 and 5 year old, etc etc.) everything was clean and comfortable. I will say things did feel a bit outdated but nothing too crazy. The way the rooms are set up inside the building are cool. I gave this 4 stars because according to my husband, he couldn’t sleep because he felt something was watching him and it gave him an overwhelming sense of dread. Then the following morning my 2 year old comes to me and says “I scared” and points to the general area my husband felt he was being watched at. So that freaked me out and we ended up checking out hours earlier than needed. Then later my husband asked me to look up if anything happened at this hotel so i did and found that an 18 year old ended his life in this hotel. So i don’t know if those things are connected but it made me feel weird. Other than that, the hotel is decent."

"It was a nice stay, close to freeways, quiet, and clean. The restaurant was nice too. We had dinner and the food was great, the cocktails weren’t as strong as I hoped but I guess for a hotel bar they were pretty decent. Overall, it was a good stay. "

"We were in Chicago for a graduation ceremony and this was the perfect place to stay. It is close to public transportation and shops (grocery store and coffee), and the neighborhood is beautiful and safe. Although there was construction happening close by, it was quiet inside the house. The hosts were communicative and welcoming. The house itself is comfortable and spacious. All in all, it could not have been a better stay."

"Yes, the room was clean but in the hallway there was a terrible smell close to a specific room; it was a smell of decomposing trash. We stayed from April 28th thru May 9th."

"Warning to others, place has a high rating, how i dont know. The room is small, dirty, smelled like mildew something awful, the bathroom door was broken and wouldn't shut. The bed mattress had huge dip making it very uncomfortable, had to take extra pillows and slide under mattress. Trash was overflowing and on ground outside, no attempt to change or clean it. No wi fi, or breakfast available. The check-in was easy and staff was nice, being why id give it one star or a 2 out of ten, thats generous. "
