"Very nice property and responsive manager. The garbage disposal wasn't working when we arrived. It took less than a day to have a replacement installed. The kitchen was very nice and roomy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"The house was nice and spacious with all the amenities we could need. Our family of four with young children stayed here over Christmas and loved it. There was plenty of room! The provided roll away crib was so nice to have so we didn’t have to bring our pack and play on the trip from out of state. We had a question on the first night we were there and the host was very quick to respond. A great experience overall!"

"Traveling to South Texas we needed an overnight place to stay. We booked "The Hive" and are so glad we did! The place was spotless, had covered parking (that came in handy with the overnight storms), a huge fenced backyard for privacy, a king bed with one of the most comfortable mattresses and pillows ever, and great communication with the property owners! There is only one other house on the block and nothing worth seeing out front, but the back is where it's at with a big open space of nothing...

"This is a lovely home in a beautiful setting! The house is set up well for guests. We appreciated that there were more than enough dishes as well as towels. We loved using the kayaks to go out on the lake. There were so many places to sit and visit, play games, or just relax and enjoy the view. We had a wonderful stay, and wish we could have stayed longer."

"We had a few housekeeping concerns- several towels smelled like cigarette smoke, the potty seat was loose in the downstairs bathroom. Other than that, it was very clean! Wished we'd known about the steep steps to the upstairs and to the water! We're all 4 in our 60's. We realized we're all in really good shape! Also, not sure how 8 could sleep comfortably. It was perfect for the 4 of us (women- our husbands didn't join us this time) with one sleeping on the couch and with only 2 bathrooms. Also,...

"Such a cute cottage! Plenty of room with great outdoor setup, so much covered patio space which was great since a bit a bad weather last weekend. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Husband caught 4 fish off the dock. Loved it!"
