Gillies Vacation Packages

We spend two nights here recently and the bedroom was functionsl with two queen beds, a microwave and a mini fridge. It was quiet and confortable but they did not make our room after our first night there. No breakfast included but a nice restaurant on site. I enjoyed the large heated pool and the dry sauna. Near the airport but not very noisy. The price was right.

The room and bathroom were very clean and the restaurant meal was excellent. The rest of the building is ancient and in need of a total renovation. Pool area was old and worn and the hot tub didn’t work. Hallways and stairwells were totally creepy. The area around the hotel was very sketchy. Would not stay here again.

Bathroom is pretty dated and could definitely use an update, but otherwise the room was pretty comfortable. The doors don’t keep out any noise from the hallway though so we were woken up multiple times in the early morning by other guests chatting outside of their rooms. Besides that, it was pretty quiet considering the hotel was right on a busy thoroughfare. We appreciated the free breakfast included. There were waffles, bagels, bread, cereals, yogurt, muffins, hard boiled eggs, and drinks. As other guests have mentioned, it would be nice to have a couple more proteins, but overall free breakfast was decent and well-maintained.
