Only one person on duty at 5 so long wait to check in. Put us on 3rd floor, to be away from groups, view over an office block. Room clean but basic.
Good location, very limited parking, overflow parking about 10 minutes tes away

Very centrally located
Train station down the street castle and keep on the other end. Many dining and drinking places close. Great breakfast available for a small fee. Staff helpful. Shower only and a small bathroom. No laundry available on site but a great one in the community 15minute walk away.

This hotel was just mins walk away to the beach of Whitley Bay. It's an older hotel and a very good price. Nothing fancy but clean, quiet and plenty of shopping near by. Staff was very nice and friendly. It was just a 1 night stay to enjoy the relaxing sea rather than a busy city and long my journey up the coast line of England to Bamburgh Castle.

Room quite basic but had everything we needed. Very clean and got fresh towels and toiletries every day. Could make tea/coffee in the room. Staff friendly and efficient. Full breakfast available every morning. Inn situated in the downtown area and close to the stores and bus station. Overall enjoyed the stay and would return.

I loved it here. Great and hospitable service, especially from Léa, who welcomed me to the bar. Nice little pub and a good location. The room was cozy and comfortable, although I couldn't close the bathroom window, so it was chilly in the morning. Excellent price for solo travellers though.
