![Crowders Mountain State Park has a wealth of great trails which end with great views of North Carolina piedmont. The two main destinations are Crowders Mountain (2.8 mile walk from Sparrow Springs Access) or the Pinnacle or King's Pinnacle. The Pinnacle trail is a pleasant 2 miles trek uphill through rich forest. The last little bit has some rock scrambling with signs that urge carefulness. But the views are stupendous, especially with fall colors in full display. « The place was very clean and set up very nicely. The furniture is very comfortable. The views of the lake are beautiful. We visited in the winter, and the weather during our stay was quite cool, so we couldn’t enjoy swimming or kayaking, but in the summer that would be a real plus. I highly recommend this place. If we visit again in the future, I would check to see if it’s available. »

« The cottage and location were great. 1 quibble, the sliding door on the wardrobe did not allow me to access the drawers.1 problem, since there was no parking allowed in the driveway (totally understandable) I had to park the rental car on a side street. Someone side swiped it. So be careful where you park.I would definitely stay here again. »

« The home was beautiful. Right on the lake, wonderful yard and deck overlooking the lake. The back porch was covered, with multiple, comfortable dining and seating options. The overhead heaters were perfect as we experienced some cold weather but still loved sitting outside together around the fire. The inside was well furnished and completely updated. "Super hôtel neuf, propre. La chambre était spacieuse et la salle de bains était dans un très bon état. La literie est super confortable. Le personnel est très agréable et souriant. Le petit déjeuner était suffisant avec le choix en bagel et la possibilité de se préparer son yaourt soi-même. Nous y sommes rester 1 nuit mais j'aurais volontiers prolongé mon séjour. "

"Blocked here for two nights due to cancelled flight. So I worked, trained ate and slept. Fast WiFi. Good for working. Good gym for being a hotel gym. 20 min on the step machine and then some free weights. The breakfast is a real breakfast served with real plates. (No paper or plastics) The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. You get what you pay for!"
