Saint John Harbourfront Hotel

"The original room we were given had a double-paned window that had and obvious broken seal. Not sure if that was the problem or not but you could not see out the window and the room smelled awful, perhaps musty from moisture. When I brought this to the attention of the staff/manager, he relocated us to a different room (which was very nice) and comped us two free drinks at the downstairs bistro. Overall the stay was pleasant once we got to a different room. I would note, that parking is not affiliated with the hotel and is an additional fee. Also our truck almost hit the ceiling in the parking garage, it was not a comfortable parking situation. This was the second year we have stayed here - it's a nice stopping point for our annual trip[.The hotel itself is old and showing the signs of aging and disrepair. On our next trip to New Brunswick we will probably look for another place to stay."

"This was my first time staying here, it was in an unusual or unexpected location! When they say hill side they mean hillside as it’s on a slope! Bathroom was clean, bed was clean, the place was very cute like a cottage or 1 bed room apartment. (Though it was difficult figuring out the lighting at first lol ) Everything works, everything was clean ! The staff member was nice and friendly I’d stay there again :3"

"Property owner was available right away when we checked in. We had difficulty with the tv remote and box not working properly, the manager sent in someone to troubleshoot the problem immediately and solved the issue."
