"Room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The deck overlooking the pool was also nice. Our host was very helpful with accommodating my wife’s Celiac diet. Delicious breakfast and different each morning. The family dogs are beautiful and friendly, but if you’re afraid of dogs it might not be for you. We love dogs so we enjoyed having them around."

"Wonderful accommodation for 6 friends and a dog. Conveniently located, beach access a bonus. Comfortable beds, linens including bed, towels and blankets clean and plentiful. Roomy cooking, eating and indoor lounging areas. Relaxing outdoor deck and lounge swing/fire pit. Incredibly stocked kitchen, games and books. Many other details much appreciated."

"An absolutely 10 for a retreat rental. Very private despite the owners occupying the top floor of this three-story building. The rental is for the entire second floor with private entrance, and a wrap around veranda with outdoor furniture, and a beautiful view of of the bay (Pender Harbour.) It also has a propane fire pit for those cool nights. Owners Michelle and Dave are wonderful hosts. Dave’s cinnamon buns are a must try. I suggest to order them upon check-in. Dave will have them ready for you for breakfast the next morning, piping hot and freshly baked. We brought out small dog and spent two nights here to explore the surrounding wonderful beaches, trails, and weekend markets. Our dog loves this place too as the owners have two very friendly and playful dogs. On this booking site there is no option to add a dog, and the typed-in note does not seemed to be passed along in the booking. But the hosts will add the one-time dog fee as an add-on after you’ve checked in, and then you can pay via the booking site. I recommend this place, for its location and facilities. To us it is a perfect journey hub to the Sunshine Coast."
