Châteaux à Galena

« I was pleased when I walked into this charming little home. It was cozy and clean, and close to Alum Creek. We enjoyed watching the deer, ducks and geese. There's a little pond out back that attracts wildlife. When we first arrived, there were multiple deer across the pond, playing and chasing each other. The whole place is wall to wall knotty pine. The porch has enough rocking chairs for entertaining, and sits close enough to the firepit to enjoy both. The only thing missing was a bowl...

« Perfect house was as was advertised. Our group had a great time. Very clean and well taken care of. »

« If I could move in and live here I would. Best rental experience I’ve ever had. Fabulous place for kids to be out in nature, collect fresh eggs, pet the chickens, woods at night filled with fireflies. Pure magic and I would definitely stay here again. Hosts are wonderful. My apologies for all the dog nose prints on all the windows! »

« I hate booking through Expedia because it’s always an issue. Hotel was nice overall. But I reserved for a double bed only to get there and be told they didn’t have any double bed rooms available . It was after midnight, so I did t have much of a choice left. Hotel staff did accommodate my daughter with a roll away bed that was clean and comfy so it worked out. Room was clean , breakfast was good. I would stay here again »
