We booked for a one night stay but ended up staying a second night. From the moment of our arrival the staff were exemplary. Our bedroom was so relaxing with one of the most comfortable beds and pillows I've ever come across in a hotel. The food was so flavourful and delicious. Such a lovely atmosphere with some of the best trained staff were nothing is too much to ask them and your comfort is what matters. A beautiful place and I wanted to stay longer.

We chose the Metropole because we found a letter from an ancestor in my husband's family, who were originally from Ireland, touting it's praises. Maybe we stayed in the same room - nice to think about but probably not. Anyway, we had a great time. The location, friendly staff, and comfort all met our expectations. We will return.
