"My son and I had a great time staying here. Staff was nice and helpful. The tents are a good size, clean, and beds are comfortable with heated blankets. Nice big clean pool. It was nice to have our own fire pit to roast S’mores. Some other reviews I read were saying the bathrooms were bad but I really didn’t think so. This property is beautiful and we will definitely be back again. "

"Peaceful and quiet, it is a true sanctuary to unwind and relax. Loved the warm private pool and hot tub with a lovely view. So comfortable with a big deck and porches to enjoy the view from many perspectives.The small pond was perfect and brought the sounds of frogs and beautiful drangonflies.Check-in was very easy and the kitchen had everything we needed. I was able to barbecue on the grill as well.I definitely would come back and recommend."
"My concern always is, “Is this place really going to be as nice as they made it look?” Answer in this case, a resounding yes! We had a group of 9 — 6 adults and three children ages 5-8. Plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of cutlery, dishes, pots and pans. Beautiful decks and spectacular views from the living spaces. Ocean to the right, river in front and to the left. Lots of beaches within a short drive. Cool and scenic places all around. Highly recommend. You get what you see!"
Ocean Hideaway: Your Romantic And Private Oceanfront Retreat!

"My husband, college-aged son, mother, and two sighthounds stayed at the Ocean Hideaway to escape the fourth of July fireworks. The location was amazing and private, with daily deer sightings and many types of birds to observe from the large windows overlooking the ocean. We stocked up on groceries ahead of time (with one visit to the Fort Ross store) and spent most of our visit hiking or hanging out and looking at the waves as they crashed against the rocks of the cove. This view was incredibly relaxing, particularly accompanied by the sound of the ocean, wind, and seabirds. Our dogs enjoyed the space, too, and the private street worked well for safe, leashed walks. One thing to keep in mind is that one of the bedrooms is a loft that is open to the living and kitchen/dining area, where sound can travel. This may be an issue if folks have different sleeping schedules. On the whole the entire family enjoyed the comforts of the house combined with the pleasures of the nature surrounding it."

"We had a great stay! The cottage was cozy and clean, check in process was simple and easy. Nice quiet spot on the creek. We were lucky to come in on a Friday when the bakery makes pizzas and has live music. Breakfast of fresh baked bread and pastries brought to our front door was absolutely delicious. "

"We had an incredible stay at this oceanfront property. The views were absolutely breathtaking—waking up each morning to the sound of the waves and panoramic views of the Pacific was something truly special.This was a relaxing and much-needed getaway for our family. We have two teenagers who are usually glued to their phones, but even they were drawn in by the peaceful surroundings, the beauty of the ocean, and all the wildlife we saw right from the deck—seals, birds, and other sea life.The location was ideal—secluded enough to feel like a retreat, but close enough to make easy day trips to the Redwoods, San Francisco, and several amazing local wineries. It really struck the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure.Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to unplug, reconnect, and soak in the beauty of the Northern California coast.
