Enjoy night sky constellation tours and views of celestial objects through a number of telescopes (varying in size up to a 24-inch Ritchey–Chrétien telescope) in the Rebecca Gale Telescope Park at the Visitors Center (i.e., NOT at the research telescopes at the top of our peaks) every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday evening (schedule varies during the end-of-the-year holidays and Spring Break). Those with mobility issues, please note the distances involved with participating in the Star Party. Quiet, lots of games at the lobby, always has it to ourselves to add, loved the dining area where it had a microwave-perfect place for eating the food we brought with us, room 6 was absolutely charming, comfy beds! spotless. Our room also had a fridge, microwave and coffee. Loved that we had Sleeping Mtn for our view-our dogs loved looking out the window. Great stay for our doggies too. I would go back.
