The Lincoln Marfa

"The room was fairly clean, but there was quite a bit of dust in the corners and under furniture. There was a mouse that we saw running across the kitchen - I texted and they offered to bring a mouse-trap, but I said we would just put up with it until we left. We only saw it twice. (There has been a lot of rain). I know it's not a big deal, but I'm terrified of mice! - The kitchen was amazing with everything you could want. The coffee maker was a little old, but worked well and there was plenty of coffee! - It was wonderful to have so much space - the bathrooms were very nice. - There just isn't a lot going on in Marfa. There is not an area with little shops and there are only a few restaurants. We were supposed to stay at the Paisano, but our reservations were canceled due to the renovation project. I think that may have caused the prices at the other hotels to go up. - I would definitely recommend the Mary Todd House at the Lincoln House, especially if you like something more like a home away from home!"

"The Downtowner was the perfect location to explore Marfa. Within walking distance to everything, including the Marfa Lights Festival going on that weekend. The place was clean and perfectly sized for a couple. We especially enjoyed the steam shower! Would definitely stay here again!"
