"Halewood Farm checked all the boxes for our family. It was a lovely place for our family to meet, as we all came from multiple states and the airport distance was great. The home was clean and comfortable , very spacious, had all the necessary amenities and more. The view is stunning and so relaxing and serene to sit on the deck. We really enjoyed our visit. "

"I stayed here with several friends to celebrate my birthday. The house was a perfect setup in good or bad weather with the multiple decks, hot tub, and big window next to the fire place. Our first night we saw a meteor shower from the loft bedroom deck! The house was very clean, well stocked, and cozy. The host was very responsive, helpful, and thoughtful - she surprised us with a s’mores kit and happy birthday banner for my birthday! The driveway definitely does require 4WD/AWD, so don’t sleep on that note. If you have 2WD, you won’t make it up, but if you have 4WD/AWD you will have no trouble. There was plenty of comfortable living, sitting, eating, and sleeping space for all 10 of us. It is a few minutes from a grocery store and a quick, easy into drive Asheville (we spent lunch and the afternoon in Asheville). The house is private and the property was great for trekking around and exploring during the day. This was a perfect getaway and I would very highly recommend both the host and the house! My group is already talking about when we can get back for round 2!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was spotless and extraordinarily well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the fire place on cool mornings and the porch swing and upstairs porch were great for sitting and sipping coffee. Our hosts were so kind and helpful! They were very easy to communicate with and I would highly recommend trying some of their delicious scones! As the listing states, the driveway is steep and not for vehicles without all or four wheel drive. I had no issue with my truck, but if you don't have a capable vehicle, don't let it deter you. The walk from the hosts alternative parking to the cabin is quite short. The cabin is close to Marshall and Asheville if you're looking to explore."
