Cabin and landscaping was absolutely amazing when we pulled up to it. Easy directions to enter. Beautiful interior. Everything you need for a few days to a few month stay. Beautiful sunsets. Sounds of wildlife hypnotic at night. Only one negative, which was no big deal: The floor/walls were thin- we could hear whispered conversations from the 1st floor bedrooms, and they were kept awake with the snoring coming from the upstairs bedroom. The entertainment equipment was top notch. We enjoyed streaming our music on the surround sound. There was quite a selection of dvds. The hot tub was great after hiking. Kelly even had robes to wrap yourself in after getting out. The dogs enjoyed the deck a lot. The area has lots to do, Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, restaurants and of course breweries. My only slight disappointment was the fact that you do not get hardly any TV stations, which usually wouldn't be a problem except that we were trying to watch the NFL playoff games! The only other issue is that the internet was incredibly intermittent and would cut you off a lot...however, the beautiful view substitutes for that!! It was exactly as described, very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. It is about 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, so access was easy. If you are not used to rural/mountain half-mile long steep and windy access roads pay attention to the the posted description and information. Arriving during daylight our first day was extremely helpful. After a couple drives we become very comfortable with it. The comfortable furniture and great sound system were much appreciated.
