The property has 1 gig fiber internet, so the entire family can stream at the same time if needed. This classic log cabin is the perfect place to relax and gather with family and friends when you are not out experiencing the countless attractions in the area. The cabin is the perfect balance between classic mountain cabin architecture and modern comforts and conveniences. The first level includes a main living area, kitchen, bathroom and sunroom. The main living area includes a dining area, sitting area and living room that includes a 65" TV and an assortment of games, books, puzzles and toys. The living room couch features a full size pull out bed. The sunroom can function as an additional living space or a bedroom with a king bed or two twin beds. The sunroom has a 55" TV and a desk for working or schooling. Both TVs are setup with Netflix and Disney+. The second level includes two bedrooms and a bathroom. The family suite bedroom upstairs includes a king bed and two built in twin beds. These twin beds are slightly shorter and narrower than a standard twin bed to fit in the space. The second bedroom upstairs includes a king bed. This is an older cabin and some sound travels between the main living area on the main level and the bedrooms upstairs. Outside is a covered porch that sits just a few feet from the stream. The stream provides a pleasant sound as you relax outside. When it's time for dinner a large 5 burner propane grill is available on the expansive patio just off the porch. The 10 foot picnic table easily accommodates everyone in the group. The backyard features a firepit circled by Adirondack chairs. The mini log cabin nearby provides a fun place for kids to explore and play. A fully covered and illuminated outdoor game area with ping pong, foosball and cornhole provides entertainment day and night. Or relax in one of the hanging hammock chairs as you listen to the stream flow by a few feet away. Heat is provided via two kerosene heaters that provide ample heat for the entire cabin. Each can be set to a desired temperature and they will maintain that temperature. The exhaust for these heaters is out the wall on the back side of the house and the porch on the front. While enjoying the front porch, the heater can be easily turned off to avoid exhaust. A wood burning fireplace in the living room provides great ambiance and additional heat. During the warmer months window air conditioner units are placed in the main living area, sun room and family suite bedroom. These are newer and can be set to a desired temperature and they will maintain that temperature. They are very effective at keeping the cabin comfortable. A high quality BOB stroller and Kelty child carrier are available for use during your stay. A Pack 'n Play is also provided. A year round stream runs just a few feet from the front of the cabin. The property is very private and quiet. Typically the only sound that can be heard is the stream flowing by. No neighboring homes can be seen from the cabin. The road for the neighborhood runs along the southeast side of the property. Only three other homes are past this property on that road, so the road is very rarely used. Access to the property is extremely easy. The home is located 1/4 mile off of the 4 lane Hwy 25/70 on a paved, relatively flat, state maintained street. Even with inclimate weather (which is rare), access to the properly is not a problem. The two-story, 2bdrm, 2 btrm, with Living Room, Dining Room, sitting area. kitchen, and sunroom downstairs and bedrooms upstairs, is extremely cute, cozy, clean and spaciously laid out. The bedding linens, towels, and snacks provided were excellent. Laundry facilities were great. The 3 and 7 year old girls loved the toys that are provided and planty of places to play. Heating for the cabin was perfectly comfortable. The storage house with ping pong and foozeball tables were in perfect condition and enjoyable. The little log cabin playhouse was fun for the kids as well and the firepit with chairs area was nice, although we didn't use it. The front porch is large and has a nice view of the creek and woodsy area. The creek was beautiful and we had fun exploring the trails behind the house and the little bridge across the creek. Access to the house was easy and safe from the neighborhood street and the location is just outside of Weaverville to be rural/woodsy, but only 10 minutes to grocery stores, shopping, quaint downtown with cool restaurants and shops. Weaverville was perfect for a short ride over to Asheville and to Wolf Ridge where we visited the ski resort and snow tubing park. Light snow on the last night made it very exciting for the kids the following morning, as they had never seen snow before. We would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend this wonderful cabin to anyone visiting the greater Asheville area. ##### Ronald S. B. The kids LOVED that they had their own little nook and the beds were plenty large enough. Our kids are 4 & 7\. But our 13 year old cousins wish they could have slept here because it is so cool! The beds have a curtain that makes it feel extra fort-like!!! The curtains navy and gold look like a night sky...so cool King Bed! Other bedroom was perfect , w a nice king bed. All the beds and sofa are very comfortable! Sheets and towels and the entire property seemed very clean & well kept. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't provided! The downstairs room w two twin beds was perfect for our 13 year old cousins, and a nice private space away from the other two rooms. This room would also suite two adults that like each other just fine. The two bathrooms were very clean and spacious w all essentials provided. The living room seats about a dozen people - very nice furniture, very mountain cozy feel. Very comfy. Huge TV!! Kitchen is big and very well equipped! The cabin was a great layout, had all the essentials and definitely upgraded personal care products from what I’ve had at other places. The interior is definitely high end concerning furnishings and the overall build inside. Outside is perfectly rustic with many places to explore/play for young children. This house is a perfect slice of heaven! Tucked away in the woods with a beautiful creek running by was perfect for exploring. The house was clean, and well equipped for our needs. Our children especially enjoyed the two smaller beds tucked away in one of the bedrooms upstairs. The fire pit and green space out back were perfect for relaxing family time, there is even a little playhouse for the kids! The location was perfect for what we wanted. Access to great hiking trails but close to Weaverville and a quick drive to Asheville. The host was wonderful too, clearly communicated everything, was very responsive, had great recommendations for activities and food, and made us feel very welcome! ##### Ashley B.
