Very outdated, not as clean as it should be. Staff was decent, not overly friendly. Heat had to be on 79 to be warm. Won't be back

Gym was missing mats, wanted to use the treadmill but someone was in it the entire time. Small gym

The heating system in the general areas of the hotel wasn't working during negative freezing temperatures. The cleaning staff laft bedding sheets sitting on the floor of the hallway. The top drawer of the bureau wouldn't stay shut. This is hotel is locted in a prime location in Hartford, with spectacular view of the state Capitol building and park. The place obviously needs to invest in renovations. There was no juice in the juice machine for those of us who don't drink coffe or tea for breakfast. They said the garage door wasn't working, so I had to pay $32 to park outside on the property. This appears to be a scam to generate more money from hotel guests. I would have parked on the street if it wasn't for the snowblower and tools that were in my truck. This visit is 3 stars bordering on 2 stars.
