"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access.
Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. If you need a base...

In floor heating; no noisy AC unit.
Nice grounds to walk with our dog (pet friendly).
Host provided outside movie and got a fire going.
Hot breakfast (scrambled & sausage) plus good fruit, cottage cheese, yoghurt with usual coffee and selection of teas.
Friendly staff who want to help.
Property is well off the road and so peaceful. Restaurants are 5-8 mins away but parking is challenging as these are popular.

Would definitely come back to this location. Beautiful hot tub/pool area. Laundry facilities were good. Front desk was so friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel. Loved the breakfast.

Our room was huge and super nice. Beds were very comfortable and it's within walking distance of a brewery and the casino resort. The staff were super friendly and they had free wine tasting in the lobby.

Beautiful suite with a kitchen and separate bedroom. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Convenient parking. Close to many different restaurants, like D’oro de Napoli and Falafel Hut. Continental breakfast was good, not great. Good to a Nespresso machine in our suite - a nice treat. Would stay here again in heartbeat!
