Overall stay was just ok. They allow dogs and we brough ours. The policy states you have to stay with the dog which our neighbors who had their dog did not. The dog barked all night. It was also fourth of july so I am sure the poor dog was scared and the owners just left them alone to be scared and bark all night which triggered out dog to bark. I called down twice to complain but no real action was taken. Upon check out the next day, they asked how the stay was and I said we barely slept due to the barking. All they said was sorry. No offer to make things better. I had to ask for them to waive the pet fee for me to at least compensate for the horrible over night stay.

It’s a beautiful old hotel, but I was shocked at how dirty it was. The pool area bathrooms were disgusting and it doesn’t look to be well maintained.

This was one of the best locations I’ve stayed at in the last year or so, 5 stars across the board in every category. Communications with the host was outstanding as well. I highly recommend staying here. I wish I could’ve stayed more than one night.
