"The staff were very accommodating and nice. We appreciated the fact that the hotel was dog friendly. It was clean and had everything we needed. Parking was free in the lot. It’s an older hotel under renovations…so furniture was older and worn (which didn’t matter to us). It was a bit loud with construction/renovations occurring from early morning til 530pm. But we were gone seeing the city for most of that time so it didn’t bother us. "

"Great location and great service. It’s so frustrating for a business when people don’t act correctly and honestly they should have to pay for my stay. My neighbors kept having fights slamming doors etc. It it was any other time I’d have gone to management about it. Otherwise it was good. "

"You get what you pay for. One good thing about this property is they don’t over sell their facility. It is what it is for the price we pay. Shower handle did not work well. The advantage of this property is check in any time after 7 AM where as other places we have to wait till 3 pm! Does not give very safe appeal when looking at type of people that check in and reminds you get what you pay for. Other than that, they want to do good service and room is clean. "

"Pros: Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Clean bedding and linens. Sparkling bathroom. working fridge, microwave and kitchen sink. Quiet (no small feat when surrounded by a freeway and busy arterials). Excellent security with a room-key-activated motorized gate. Many fun places to visit along Sandy Blvd, including a wonderful French patisserie/restaurant (went there twice), Voodoo Donuts and some really great bars, like the Sandy Hut and the Moon and Sixpence Pub. Cool restored...

"We are a group of 8 friends who go on vacation for a week every year.( for over 30 years ) We are 70 years plus old! Property and views were wonderful. Many deer sightings, a view of the Columbia River. House was beautiful and updated, each couple had their own bathrooms attached to rooms. It is 3 stories, so if anyone has issues with stairs consider that when booking. We had no problem. Property owners were very attentive and would definitely recommend this property."

"This rental surpassed all our expectations in every way! I’ve stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years, and this one was by far the best. The setting in the forest and on the Tualatin River was surreal. The attention to detail amazing. The Goat Shed & Zen dens were quite clean & cozy. As 2 older women, we felt very safe staying here. Overall centrally located and a quick drive down the road into West Linn offered several wonderful dining options. Definitely plan on staying here again....
