Me and my wife spent our honeymoon here. Could not have asked for a better place to stay! Many windows, a great view, wonderful secluded neighborhood, and an awesome host. Would HIGHLY recommend. Super close to Estes lake and just a couple minute drive from downtown on a quiet private drive. You do neighbor the hosts house, but that was not a problem for us. It took us less than 5 minutes to downtown and \~10 minutes to get to the park. Be aware, no AC, but we had the windows open during the day while we were gone. Very highly recommended. Very close to town and in fact next to the Estes lake hiking trail. Rocky Mountains National park very close. The hikes at lumpy road(gem lake and the other) are great and mills lake and the hike near bear lake are mind blowing, just be prepared, in winter they are a bit challenging stamina wise but well worth it.
