Estate Johns Folly Vacation Packages

The staff were very helpful from start to checkout, everyone seemed to go out of their way to make it a great experience. We were always able to get a cart ride to and from our room when we didn’t feel like walking, the taxis were always available out in front, we used the shuttle to Coki and Coral world. The grounds were very well maintained and we enjoyed walking and taking in the beauty that surrounded us. The hillside pool was a daily stop for happy hour in the water. We ate at the restaurant 3 times and enjoyed both dinners and breakfast. The room was very clean and a perfect place to land after being out and about for the day. We were in a ground floor room and really enjoyed sitting outside the room and watching the iguanas, chickens and cats. Not having beach access at the resort was not a problem because we had planned to visit Coki, Megan’s bay, Trunk and Cinnamon bay. We took a taxi to Red hook for a couple of dinners and the ferry to St John, so convenient to get everywhere we wanted to go from Margaritaville. The atmosphere was so relaxed that time seemed to slow down while we were there. We would definitely recommend and return at the first opportunity.

What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! Little touches everywhere were not overlooked by my family.

The room was great but I didn’t get to select the view. I would have preferred a higher floor for more of a water view. We only stayed for 3 nights. I would suggest staying for longer or picking another place. The restaurant options are limited to a beach bistro and a very nice (expensive) dinner restaurant. The room we were in had a kitchenette but without a car and for only 2 full days, it wasn’t worth it for us to bring in any food. The beach was nice. We didn’t go in the pool.

The resort is very walkable and loved that everything was so close. There is only one dining establishment on the actual resort so would have loved another option but the food at the Long Board was delightful.
