great experience and amazing stay

The views were beautiful and walking distance to town. The room was clean but our room was unfinished. For example, windows with no curtains and a slider that only had a partial curtain and didn’t fully close. The neighbors got a show every night (and not by choice) Also our water was cut off -twice- but they quickly fixed it. The pool area was hit or miss with too many day-passers drowning the vibe. When you arrive - expect to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs. The food was excellent and our bartender Mac was the best on the island. Great drinks and good company. The other bartender - Stephanie was the opposite of Mac - she openly complained about the hotel and other co-workers - completely unprofessional (and didn’t make a good drink) . When you’re on vacation, the last thing you want to listen to is someone bit$&ching while you sip on a drink. This place could be a gem with some changes.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt this one was important to share. We recently stayed here and unfortunately had an issue with unexpected construction taking place in the building during our stay. The noise significantly impacted our ability to enjoy the property during the daytime, and I was admittedly very disappointed with the situation. However, what happened afterward completely changed my opinion. I reached out to management after our stay and explained my frustration. I made it clear that I was not asking for a full refund—I simply felt the inconvenience should be acknowledged with some reasonable compensation. Their response went far beyond what I expected. They apologized, took responsibility for the situation, and processed a full refund for our stay. I believe you learn a lot more about a business by how they handle a problem than when everything goes perfectly. Problems happen. What matters is whether a company listens to its customers and makes things right. They absolutely did. I also want to specifically recognize Adam, who was extremely kind, professional, and apologetic throughout our stay. I appreciate the way management ultimately handled the situation. They didn't just acknowledge my concerns—they went above and beyond to m
