Location was great for getting around Portland to explore, but having a quiet place to go back to within walking distance of lots of little shops and dining. "This was a sweet little escape not super far away from town. The only thing that I would suggest is asking that if you're visiting in colder months you request the heat be turned on prior to check in. It was freezing and took a few hours to heat up. Otherwise it was a great little place and most likely will visit there again."

"This rental surpassed all our expectations in every way! I’ve stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years, and this one was by far the best. The setting in the forest and on the Tualatin River was surreal. The attention to detail amazing. The Goat Shed & Zen dens were quite clean & cozy. As 2 older women, we felt very safe staying here. Overall centrally located and a quick drive down the road into West Linn offered several wonderful dining options. Definitely plan on staying here again....

"The property is in a very quiet area, right next to the river. The house is well-furnished with quality couches, beds, appliances, etc. Charming house, very comfortable for our family of 4. Could easily hold more comfortably. Easy check-in (key-less entry) and check-out (strip beds, start dishwasher)."

"Neat and Tidy, all things to make your visit comfortable. Would be interesting to know the history of this little place. Hosts stayed in contact. Deer and squirrels stopped by for a visit. Very quiet except when the Train passes (after a day you don’t notice it). Only disappointment was the shower, it’s “NOT A SHOWER/TUB COMBO.” The Cottage slops a bit to the South, but understandable due to age. All in all it was a great place to stay."

"Our stay exceeded our expectations. Suzanne has made every effort to ensure the comfort and convenience of her guests. The cottage was clean. The queen bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of closet and drawer space, our own laundry, and very, very well stocked kitchen! The gardens are beautiful. Despite being at the crossroads of two main roads, the traffic noise wasn’t noticeable and we slept soundly. Would absolutely stay here again!"
