Top Emigrant Gap Hotel Reviews

Truckee Donner Lodge

8/10 Good

"The exterior area of the property, including the jacuzzi was clean and well maintained. The front desk staff helpful and the interior dinning area clean. We did not have breakfast there but could see that they offered a nice selection. The bedroom size is comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and bedding was clean. The room furniture was stained, the bathroom was clean but tile cracked, and 2 of the lights didn't work. The location is excellent and price for overall value is unbeatable. I would not hesitate to stay here again."

Grass Valley Courtyard Suites

10/10 Excellent

"We enjoyed our trip here very much, except my husband thought the bed was too hard and we didn't care for the type of pillows they had. Also, the toilets were a big issue. Too short to sit down on with bad knees, and the bowl itself was too shallow. Didn't like getting our hands wet every time we needed to do the paperwork. Other wise, great place, nice location, great breakfast and staff is super friendly and helpful."
