"We loved the proximity to the west gate of Yosemite. Even though a hotel is close to a gate, it’s still a long drive into the valley. That’s for any hotel around Yosemite though. We loved our stay at the lodge and was able to take hot showers, relax in the hot tub, and get a good nights sleep after our extremely long days of hiking. We would venture over to the lucky buck cafe and get breakfast before heading to the park and would grab dinner after the park. Stay here, you’ll be glad you did. "

"We had a great time staying here! It has that cabin like experience and is close to Yosemite. My only negative is the road to get here is a bit bumpy and not a main road. There’s quite a bit of pot holes so better to arrive during the day with good visibility. Also, several cattle on the road to get there so be careful. "

"Would have appreciated a notification that a reservation to access Yosemite Park on weekends was necessary. This lack of information left a number of hotel guests scrambling to catch buses that allowed entry to the park. We lost precious hours as a result. "

"What an adorable place to stay after a long backpacking trip in yosemite!! Bed was super comfortable. The showers including indoor and outdoor clean and refreshing! Had a quaint feel and the firepit on the deck a treat! Felt like home. Hot water for coffee and tea! Loved the little town of Mariposa and all the cute shops! "
