Took a few days to settle into the culture and lifestyle in the area but it was a beautiful experience. "This is a real beach get away, there is not so much around but that adds to the tranquility of the area. If you need to just get away from the crowds and enjoy the coast this is a wonderful place. The jungle apartment also was incredible, we would spend an hour just watching the wildlife on the tree that runs through the building. Of course being in the jungle environment means jungle animals so be warned there will be some big looking spiders. "

"If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of life this is your spot super nice beaches which we enjoyed by ourselves. The road is is quite rough but go slow and take your time it’s no problem staff was great however we had a language issue ( English to DR). The pool was perfect for hanging out in the evenings. We hiked to Las Galares and enjoyed the locals and found some hidden gems (Raquel’s beach bar and a pizzeria on the main street right side facing the ocean)"
