Old Strathcona

Edmonton

A sunny urban street lined with trees and buildings, a sidewalk with a wooden boardwalk, and outdoor seating at a cafe.
A lively outdoor market with food stalls and a prominent red balloon.
A historic church with a tall clock tower, a red brick building, and a person walking on a sidewalk.
A colorful geometric mural on a building at night.
A variety of pickled vegetables in jars with labels.

This historic district of Edmonton is a great place for shopping and market browsing, followed by a theatre or music show and a drink in a quirky café.

"Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. Towel hangers broken, sink is cracked. Beds were brutally uncomfortable. Only 3 pillows per bed 👎. Be wary of booking a hotel on Whyte Ave next to Bar’s/Pubs. Music/bass very loud at night when trying to sleep. AC didn’t work in the room either."
