"Excellent location for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The cabin was clean and well outfitted. Our host greeted us, talked about the history of the property, kayaking around the lake was great, such a good idea for an old youth camp with so much potential. "Very cute little place to spend a weekend! My friends, partner, and I slept comfortably. The lake itself is very nice (though weather unfortunately prevented us from going out on it with the kayaks) and it is within a short drive to Hartford, UConn, and plenty of things to do. Lee and Diane take great care of the Spring Hill in! What a lovely place to stay with extremely clean rooms, the comfort of coffee, juice and yogurt at any time and a beautiful property. The baked goods in the morning were an added treat :)They even left us some wine when they found out we would be on our honeymoon!

Check in was excellent with nice staff. Our room overlooked the lake behind the hotel and included a balcony. Facilities were well kept and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was your standard free hot breakfast. Overall, more than I would expect for a medium-low budget hotel.
