Explora Rapa Nui is definitely a unique hotel. I traveled with my friend, and since we were visiting such a unique place as Easter Island, we decided to make the experience special and stay at Explora. Is it worth the money? At first, we debated about it, but after our stay, I would strongly recommend it if you have the opportunity. The Host made us feel most welcome, and was very accommodating of all our needs. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the whole island in general is a magical place. 10 out of five stars. I highly recommend .

This place was really incredible. I'm now back in Canada wishing I was at Tahai Loft. It was clean, much bigger than I thought and a great location for the sunset and seeing a Moai. The ladies were fantastic at communication and I would send a "Whats app" for things like taxi numbers or tour questions and they would give me a very quick response. If I'm ever lucky enough to go back to Rapa Nui (Easter Island) I will definitely be staying at Tahai Loft.

The hotel is located conveniently within a block of the main shopping area in Rapa Nui, so it is walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and other amenities, including tour operators. The hotel is also very reasonably priced, given that it is an actual hotel that boasts private washrooms in each room, provides free wifi (which had good speeds), and includes complimentary breakfast. Odette and her staff were excellent. Breakfast was terrific… fresh fruit juice and fruit plus option to have custom ordered eggs. Greeted with a floral lei plus shell lei when leaving. It is about 25 minutes or a quick taxi ride to town for only 5000 Chilean pesos. Would recommend.

We stayed a week and enjoyed every minute of it. The breakfasts were wonderful. The restaurant where they were served has an outdoor terrace overlooking the waterfront. There is a roadway between the restaurant and the ocean but it is mostly hidden behind block wall and hibiscus bushes and is not conspicuous. I had a wonderful stay at Tauraa Hotel. The location is excellent—close to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront, yet still quiet and relaxing. I adored my stay at Nayara Hangaroa. From the moment I arrived I was warmly welcomed with a wonderful fresh fruit welcome drink, and an introductory session where the hotel took the time to learn about what I wanted to do, suggested some immediate tours I could take, and basically set me up for a wonderful stay and experience. One thing I really liked about this place was it’s literally walking distance from the airport, about two blocks away. The transfer company had my flight wrong so didn’t show up, and I really wanted to get to the hotel to use the pool, so I walked, and it was fine. They actually let me into my room early, which was very kind, and let me check out late because I was coming back from a beach excursion and wanted to have a shower. Kori is such a nice host! He offered picked and drop-off airport service. His breakfast is so delicious! I went fishing with him and his friends. It is my best experience in RapaNui! One day, if I come back with my families, I will come back to Kori's Hostel!

I loved this place. The staff were really nice and helpful. When Gustavo picked me up at the airport, he drove me around town so it would be easy for me to find myself while walking around and he helped me organize all of my tours. I would for sure stay here again.
