Staff were friendly and accommodating of our needs; ensured we had a table in the restaurant despite it being very busy and closed to the general public. Took time to help us with directions to the airport in the morning. The room was lovely, clean and quiet.

The walkway to the front door needs to be kept tidy it just looked a tad shabby. Even inside the front door always looked like it was never swept. The gardens could be spruced up a tad. The staff were extremely helpful and were always with a smile and asking if everything was ok, That I do like as I was in customer service for many years and appreciate friendly staff. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty in the stunning castle. This hotel is brilliant for a stay close to GLA. It is clean and comfortable, and the breakast is excellent.
The biggest problem for us was finding it, quite the accomplishment for a large building that’s a three minutes walk away from the arrivals exit.
When I spoke to the manager about this, he was completely unsympathetic, and he might just as well have come right out and said that he thought I was a very stupid old woman. He’s right about “old” but this old girl was travelling...

While the bathroom in the room is older, it was spotless as was the room. The proximity to the airport is what keeps us coming back.
The staff at check in and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.

Our stay at the Lodge was short. I wished it was longer. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were amazing. We had dinner in the dining room. It was delicious. Service was good. Wine was a bit pricey. Breakfast was included in our stay. We had choices of continental or hot menu.
Before and after our stay I messaged the hotel and they were prompt in answering my questions.
