Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly. Reduced price for breakfast was offered at check in, plenty of choices for breakfast. Great choice of meals on offer from lunchtime onwards, good sized portions, all dishes we had were tasty and hot when served also reasonably priced. Plenty of on site parking. Staff were so helpful and friendly, 🙂 Would definitely stay here again.

As a family of 5 it is very difficult for us to find hotel rooms to accommodate us. We usually have to get 2 rooms which of course doubles the cost. The family room here allowed all 5 of us in one- with a separate area with bunk beds and is phenomenal value for the price we paid. Comfortable beds, good facilities. It’s not The Ritz but it doesn’t need to be. The staff are brilliant. Super friendly and go out of their way to help. Good car park. The food both at breakfast and in the evening was wonderful. Really really tasty, good food. We loved our stay. You cannot fault it for value for money. We even booked to stay again a week later on our way back down from the highlands before travelling on to the midlands. Highly recommend.

The property looks a little old fashioned from the outside, but this hides a gem within. Warm and friendly staff guide you to clean well maintained rooms. A low fee is charged and prices in the restaurant and bar are very reasonable. Bar well used by the local community. Well done.

The hotel itself is in need of a makeover. The rooms are dated and the exterior of the property is shabby. However, the saving grace for this hotel is the staff. They are really welcoming and helpful. I also ate in the restaurant and the food was very good.
