"The house is great, it was nice and spacious for our group to never feel crowded. It was clean, the water was right out the back door, and the common area was just to the side so very convenient to go play basketball, etc. The only downside is the little things that complete the experience, and made for a lot more to pack ourselves. "Base Camp D was once again the perfect gathering place for our family Thanksgiving celebration. The kids took over the basement (and hot tub) while the adults visited upstairs. Sitting on the porch next to the heater was perfect for reading, meditating, and intimate conversations. Our only glitch was the breaker throwing twice but maintenance came right away. Wonderful place!"

The outside is rough and so is the neighborhood, however that was relatively clear from the photos before we arrived. The appliances were new. "The property was great. It was easy to get to. Very cozy and great location on the lake, if you're looking for quiet. The ammenities were great, and it was only about 12-14 minutes to the grocery store. We loved the space, the natural light, and the layout. I had to work during a portion of our stay, and the game served very well as an office. We would and most likely will stay there again."
