Lightning outside can be improved. Staff can be a little bit more welcoming. It’s a beautiful hotel in a dark street. The city can be more helpful if they put better street lights. The bathroom is impressive due to heated floors. The room is spacious. If you request they will give you slippers to wear on the room.

Room was clean, service was phenomenal, and the food and drinks in the restaurant were great! This is an awesome place to stay for the price and location!

We stayed in the Double Deluxe room with balcony and it was absolutely amazing. The room is decorated with so much love and a perfect mix of modern and classic style. Personally, the balcony with an amazing view of the city was my highlight. The room was clean and we were offered free tea, coffee, water and a small bottle of champagne. Room service will be provided daily, if you want to. The reception is open 24/7 and the staff is very friendy and will give you recommendations whenever you need. The hotel is located right in the city centre and the building is pure art - from the outside and inside. Just walking from the massive frontdoor up to the reception is breathtaking, if you are into arts and architecture. The building is around 100 years old of course it might need a little bit of maintenance here and there, but I absolutely loved walking through the huge hallway, up the stairs and through the corridors because there is so much art to see. If I ever come back to Budapest, I'd stay there again for sure.

I stayed at Maverick Apartments Budapest recently and had a decent overall experience. The room itself was okay — not amazing, but not bad either. The building is clearly quite old and historic, which gives it character, but it also explains why the rooms probably aren’t heavily renovated. Because of that, some things felt a bit worn. The washroom had a strong smell, and the toilet flush button was broken during my stay. I assume these issues come with maintaining an older property, though they were still noticeable. On the positive side, the location is excellent — you’re basically close to everything, which makes exploring the city very convenient. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which definitely improved the stay. Overall, it’s a reasonable place if you mainly want a great location and don’t mind a few imperfections in the room.
