« We loved the grandure of the hotel enerance ,check in very easy, staff very good , as we were a trans couple we were made to feel very welcom. Breackfast very good . Room was clean but the veiw was spoilt by the windows that looked as if they had never been cleaned for years. The entertainment was good. We think that brittania should invest in spending some money on this property and it would attract more customers. »

« We had 3 flights of stairs to walk up before getting to our room. we are retired people and the stairs were horrendous. When we finally got to our room what a disappointment, it was the size of a shoe box.the room was overall clean, the window was very grubby and the bathroom needs looking at. No trim around the floor, Also the shower had a leak and a large crack in the door surround. Although The bed was clean and the pillows were ok we did not sleep well at all . « A staff member advised that the hotel is focused on catering to venues. A wedding was being held when we were staying. We were advised by the hotel in advance but after booking through Expedia. The best parts of the hotel are reserved for the event leaving hotel guests not part of the event to be catered for in poorer situated parts. « Lovely 2 night stay, staff were very friendly and warm - helpful when we asked about the area. We had 2 rooms - a double and 2 singles - garden view was really nice. There is some restoration construction work for the original barrier wall - this didn’t affect our stay but just to be aware. Great location with parking available. Really good breakfast. « I visited here for 3 night with my grandson. The location, views, cleanliness, bedroom were excellent. Only criticism i have is that I'm 68 and our room was on the very top floor. Not the fault of anyone. I would live to stay here again. »

« Amazing B&B with great views and brilliant team. The lounge is comfortable and the honesty bar is a really nice touch. Rooms are very well maintained and serviced each day. The welcome we received was extra warm and our children settled quickly. The breakfast selection was spot in, good range and quality. Short walk to the town and free parking outside. « The accommodation is a small studio flat which was well furnished and comfortable. Unfortunately, when the windows opened the road noise is too great to leave open and the room very warm so for me, not comfortable due to being too hot and poor quality sleep. There is a fan but only blowing around warm air so not great.
