« We had a wonderful time, although, we wish we could have stayed longer. Our grandchildren loved the playground and the crab traps. We had luck catching crabs. Highly recommend this for a family get away. The setting is so pretty and peaceful. Thank you again. »

« The house was perfect from the deco to the screened in porch. There was everything you needed for cooking, dishes,washer and dryer and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of books and games, and bikes. We enjoyed kayacking, fishing and crabbing from the dock and Tangier Island cruises are minutes away. It was unfortunate that it was jelly fish season so no swimming in the river in 100 degree heat was a bummer. »

« The house is beautiful. Lots of natural light through all the windows and great views of the Bay across the way. Big deck for sitting out in nice weather. (Bring camp chairs as there is only seating for 4 on the deck). Well appointed kitchen with everything you'll need. The front yard is under construction and needs a little attention. « Our stay at the homestead was so relaxing! We had amazing water views from the home, nice afternoon walks and soaks in the hot tub, and we thoroughly enjoyed the spacious kitchen and screened in porch. Our beds were firm and comfortable, and evenings were so peaceful due to its location off the main road. We were close to several cute towns that we were able to explore during the day. We definitely want to come back here when the weather is warmer to enjoy all the warm weather amenities. »

« This is a beautiful property. The hosts pay attention to details in a way that made me smile. The linens and other comforts are all top quality. I did not stay with any small children, but we noticed that there were some toys and books in a closet - very thoughtful for families that might stay there. There is a lovely patio with a fire pit. Access to the water with kayaks supplied. We were there for a family event; this would be a great location for a getaway - very peaceful and oh, so...
