First, the good: the entire staff was super friendly and accommodating, it was easy and reasonably priced to book a private taxi through the hotel for day trips, and the breakfast buffet was really good. "I loved the unique decoration styles throughout the lounges—they give the place a luxurious charm. The rooms are very clean, but the building itself feels older and could use some updates. The staff were wonderful: friendly, pleasant, and never intrusive. My favorite part was the swimming pool. With palm trees all around and the gym close by, it felt like stepping into a tropical forest from a distant era, complete with antique touches in the design. Breakfast offered a few Burmese dishes, though I wish there were more choices."
