First, the good: the entire staff was super friendly and accommodating, it was easy and reasonably priced to book a private taxi through the hotel for day trips, and the breakfast buffet was really good. The bad: it was next to impossible to get any sleep during our three night stay. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything next to and above you. It’s also located on a busy street and next to train tracks (with constant honking by both until late at night and beginning before sunrise), as well as located next to a middle school. I’m not sure if it was due to a holiday or special event, but we were awakened by scores of children on microphones, shouting, and playing instruments beginning at 8am. I expected a budget hotel, but I was shocked to see how dirty this place was. The sheets had stains. There were stains on the walls. There was literally a used tissue with a blood stain on it being used to hold up the glass top of the bureau. They provided flip flops for the bathroom that were very dirty. It was our last day so could not do the trip next day. Rooftop bar is nice but the room is small and dated. La cosa più negativa era il fumo che entrava in camera proveniente dai fuochi che appiccavano fuori i senzatetto per riscaldarsi. Bruciando rifiuti entrava in camera un fumo nauseante che dava un gran fastidio nonostante le finestre fossero completamente chiuse. The staff were friendly and had some good restaurant recommendations. The hotel is average so don't have overly high expectations. Roof top bar isn't bad but is tiny. The staff is very friendly and will help arrange bus, boat or train tickets as well as help with local sightseeing. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet has many options. The wifi works ok.
