The island is only 344-square kilometres in size, so any Grenada hotel packages provide you with a convenient starting point for enjoying the island fully. This island is often referred to as the “Island of Spice” due to the mace and nutmeg crops that are grown here. Some of these facilities are open for tours, and there are several guided tours that provide you with a fascinating look at the history and production of spices in the area. Snorkeling and scuba diving are also highly popular here. Some snorkeling is available at popular beaches, but you will enjoy a better experience when you take advantage of an excursion departing from St. George’s or another city.

Many travellers who book a hotel in Grenada choose to stay in the Grand Anse area. This is the main resort area of the island. In addition to finding numerous Grenada hotel deals at great prices in this area, travellers will find hotels that are close to watersport activities, bars, restaurants, and other attractions. Quarantine Point is a popular beach area close to Grand Anse that offers a more relaxed and sometimes even serene beach experience. There are also beautiful beaches and colonial attractions at the Lance aux Epines peninsula. Those who want to spend time outdoors enjoying beautiful beaches, viewing wildlife, and exploring tropical wooded areas will want to visit La Sagesse Nature Centre and the Grand Etang National Park. You can also learn more about the history of the island by touring the Grenada National Museum.

While the island is small, there are ample attractions to explore and activities to enjoy to keep you busy for a full vacation. Cheap hotel deals in Grenada are available that provide you with beautiful rooms close to the best attractions and sights in the area. "A very special place for a stress free vacation"
What Spice Island Beach Resort manages to do, almost uniquely well, is combine all the ingredients imaginable for a vacation ideal to recover from the stress of everyday life. And to do it consistently well. We stayed for a week and in that time every aspect of the service was faultless and delivered with a smile by a team who really seemed to care that we had what we wanted. And the owning family was always visibly present. From the greeting as arrived to when we were waved off, all was super efficient whilst being warm and friendly. Aside from all the things you expect from a top class establishment there were little touches such as fresh slices of Aloha Vera appearing in our room when we returned from an outing with a couple of irritable insect bites. Apparently nearly 6 in 10 guests were return visitors and it's not hard to see why. The Sea Grape suite really did open onto the beach with the magic of dawn and sunset. The suite was comfortable and spotless, and serviced twice daily. The food was extremely good from the fresh and varied breakfasts to the superbly done evening meals - the major difficulty being the tendency to overeat. House wines included in the inclusive deal were perfectly adequate and plentiful. Cocktails were lovely from the fruit punches we took a liking to during the day to some delicious rum based ones we chose after sundown. The front desk sorted interesting excursions so we got all round Grenada - nutmeg, rum, chocolate and rainfore

"Really nice resort, just research your room before"
The resort overall is very nice and very well kept. The food was great at pretty much every restaurant. Our main complaint was that we booked an ocean view pink gin with outdoor soaking tub and we were kind of disappointed. The ocean "view" was just a sliver of ocean over the roof of a building in front of us and you definitely couldn't see it if you were in the tub. We had a problem with crickets all on our room waking us up during the night chirping by our bed/in our bath/etc. We moved rooms after the second night and instead of upgrading us we did get a beach front room but no tub at all. The resort was only 30% full so there were definitely rooms available. Also, know that if you do not have a butler you will not have any alcohol or snacks in your room or be able to order any room service. Only the guests with butlers are able to do that so it was kind of disappointing after paying so much money for our honeymoon.
