The bay house itself is gorgeous, rooms are clean and there’s always lots of beautiful brightly coloured fresh flowers on the tables and around the hotel. The staff are absolutely wonderful, so friendly and polite and go out of their way to make your stay extra special. Probably the best service and most friendly staff we’ve ever experienced at a hotel. We have a 9 month old boy and they were so great with him too, they really went above and beyond with us and our boy and made our first family holiday extra special. The hotel is on a very steep hill, we didn’t walk it and we are quite fit and live somewhere quite hilly, but this is something else! But the view from the top is spectacular! The free beach shuttle is at 10am and brings you back at 3pm, but you can always get a taxi back later with Annie and stay down at the beach for longer which we did quite a few times. Beautiful people in Grenada, felt safe everywhere, amazing hotel, so sad to be back at home! The location is excellent, with a local supermarket, restaurants, and the beach right on the doorstep, as well as a bus stop with easy access to the town centre. This was my third stay at the hotel, and I would definitely stay again. We loved the walk to the beach and up the hill to our villa (exercise during the day!), but for those not interested/able, there is a hotel shuttle up the hill. We loved our comfortable villa with a spectacular view. Special thanks to Laura and Joshua, and the rest of the staff for making our stay comfortable. We took an island tour with a great tour guide Chris and snorkeling tour with the best boat captain Francesco (SurfinGredana, inc) and truly had the best time!!! In particular, the view from the infinity edge pool is second to none. You would be hard-pressed to find a better one in the Caribbean. The staff are helpful and friendly. The office is open to visitors and convenient to your room. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk down the hill and to the left. It's not an easy walk if you are carrying lots of supplies. Taxi might be best, but it is walkable.
