Very nice place, I was looking for a place just to crash and enjoy the beach. I found that and more. Walking distance from the bus station, but I took a taxi for a few bucks to avoid the uncertainty of finding it, the entry road might nod be the best if you are dragging a carry on. Room very minimalistic and simple but impeccable. Free yoga class, good food for breakfast, hammocks both outside each room and next to the beach in the common area. Staff was great. The hotel stuff are very friendly and helpful. It has been in short of water for two nights after a hot day (maybe a general issue in the island). They did try to help and provided a small bucket of drinking water for us to clean the face before the water came back in the morning. The hotel is clean and quiet. The breakfast is exceptional.

This hotel is exceptional from the rooms, to the food, to the service to the grounds. I will definitely return and recommend highly.

Great experience. Meals and drinks are too expensive. Wifi outside the lobby is bad but around the reception area works fine, so who cares, you don't go to the Galápagos to be connected to a device. Day and night you see all kind of marine life passing by the dock. Lots of birds and other wildlife to see, beautiful view of the harbour and entertaining to sit and watch boats coming and leaving the port. Cristian was great help when needed and the rest of the staff pleasant.

Room was nice, owner picked us up from the airport and was unable to drop us off so they paid for a taxi. Breakfast was good as well.

Amazing place. Really clean and quiet. I loved everything, including the puppy that lives there! Would definitely come back. The main avenue was really close to Lava House, so you can come and go as you please and it just takes a couple minutes to reach the main bay. Overall I had a great experience with this place.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent. V clean nice view and amenities v good. Rafael was very accommodating and very considerate. Staff v attentive and helpful providing lots of useful information about the island and best coffee in town.

Staff were incredibly attentive, they prepared us a custom dinner and breakfast wich we ate on the patio outside our room. The place is so cute, and obviously taken care of with love.

This place really does look like the photos! It's whimsical and interesting, and feels just like being in big tree house! You see something different wherever you look, all the rooms are on different levels, and the steps and railings are all made of branches. There is even a bridge to cross over a "mote", where one of the rooms is. This is the feeling you want when you are in the Galapagos environment - natural, interesting, fun. Our stay at Hotel Isamar was only a few days during our Galapagos trip but the impact of having a comfortable room on a beautiful, clean beach was lasting! We took days at rest on Isabela Island and the hotel matched exactly what we needed. It was clean, spacious and had all the comforts of home (shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, comfortable bed, etc). The location being right on the beach was incredible - you could walk to town via the road out front or the beach. It was safe, clean, and quiet....

Only there for one night but the room was clean, modern, well maintained and conveniently located. Helpfull staff and yummy breakfast.

We had a lovely night stay here. You’re on an island so some ants and bugs can be expected. This isn’t The Four Seasons so if you were looking for that you would be disappointed. What you will find staff willing to go above and beyond like Jonathan, who made our stay lovely. Love that you could just walk to the beach right behind the property. The peace and tranquillity you will find here is unmatched. I think this is the best place to stay on the island. We will definitely be returning.

About a 20 minute walk from downtown, has a couple mini markets right next to it. Nice pool, morning breakfast and quiet rooms.
