Excellent service in this family-run bed and breakfast. After a long and late flight, the airport pick up was appreciated and to wake up with a beautiful view of a tropical garden and forest area was so much nicer than waking next to a highway at a typical airport hotel. We arranged for our rental car to be delivered to the property, so we were able to avoid the congested traffic of San Jose. Lovely continental breakfast with croissants and coffee.

This is my first hostel stay (I always thought the worst for these places). I absolutely loved it here. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I had a private bed with a clean bathroom. They had a wonderful vegetarian breakfast and coffee. A beautiful relaxing patio ou back. I highly recommend this place. I'm very impressed! Thank you for everything guys and I will recommend this place to anyone!

Edward and his wife were very accommodating and friendly. Our stay was short, but was a clean comfortable roof over our heads for the 8 hours we were there. Had an early morning flight, Edward fit our family of 5 into his vehicle with all of our bags and drove us to the airport in the early morning. Would definitely consider coming back for a future stay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and facilities.

Very friendly staff, helpful, beautiful grounds

Great private compound w 25 rooms, lovely grounds, big rooms, pool, and good restaurant. Within 30 minutes of SJO. We used for our last night in CR to reduce travel stress. Would also be a great SJ starting point or even business hotel.

Vicky waited up for us to arrive late at night when our flight was delayed. She gave us a main floor room so we wouldn’t have to take the luggage upstairs. The breakfast was outstanding.

This hotel is located close to the airport, but was very quiet. It is very clean, has very friendly multilingual staff, and offers a good complimentary breakfast.

We had to stay one night in San Jose as we missed our flight. Kinda a bummer but it was definitely made up for by staying at Terida. The hosts are so warm and friendly. Treated us like family. And the food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The beds were comfortable. (Which is always a concern in Costa Rica). All in all we had a great experience. And would recommend to anyone !!! Thank you Terida

Super !

It was perfect for a night before our flight in the morning

Arrived after a 9 day stay on the Pacific coast in a spectacular villa in the jungle to find another gorgeous setting in CR, this one overlooking busy San Jose and Alajuela, vibrant design, lovely cool paths filled with colourful flowers and more bird song and life than we experienced in our various tours of the trip to date. Food was wonderful, tasty and health conscious; the view at night from our bungalow of twinkling city light and brooding mountains was a balm for the hot and tired...

Very clean property, staff is attentive. Check in was hassle free and the breakfast was excellent!

Place is amazing. The view, the cabins, the food, the staff, the COWS!

This hotel is a 5 minute drive to juan santamaria (SJO) airport. Really convenient if you arrive but especially before departure as traffic in san jose can be quite unpredictible. This hotel is a hidden gem. Anonymous facade from a previous familly house, you wouldn't know it's an hotel until you get in. It's more than a hotel imo, it feels like home with a communal kitchen and a lush and peaceful garden for the 8 or 10 rooms around it. It felt safe and welcoming. The only hotel where...
