"It was my second time staying here, and unfortunately the experience was not as good. Facilities, cleanliness all were fine but the difference was this time I got a room at the front of the property. I didn’t look to be on a particularly busy road, but the traffic noise was quite bad for most of the night. The owners must recognise this issue as they gave away ear plugs in the room. This is a good touch, but sadly didn’t work for me and i didn’t get a good nights sleep. If you are a light sleeper perhaps bring ear plugs that you know to work, otherwise it could be a problem. The room I had at the back of the property was fine, but I was not so lucky this time. It’s a shame to report this, as otherwise it is really good accommodation."

"This hotel is alongside a railway line. If you are happy being woken at 05.30hrs and listening to trains rumble past then you will be delighted with your stay. The shower was tepid. Staff were polite, friendly and correct at all times. Please note that the word “travellers” features 2xL"

"I would have rated this property an overall excellent with the exception of one major issue. The hotel is beautiful, new and has gorgeous decor. Our king room, although “compact” had NO storage for our clothes other than 5 hangers. No chest of drawers, shelves, etc. I had to stack our packing cubes on top of a vanity serving as a nightstand. We stayed for 3 nights but for longer stays the lack of storage would be uncomfortable since you’re practically living out of your suitcase. Very unfortunate! Beautiful design and decor with no practicality."
