We thought Hyatt Regencies were supposed to be decent; at least a step above a Holiday Inn or Days Inn. With that said, the property is definitely dated in certain areas, like the room. We saw stains on the carpet and walls. There was no AC in the rooms, and water was not complimentary like other 4-star properties unless you have some Hyatt member status.
My biggest shock was how unprofessional the check-in process was. The staff member was super frustrated by a previous patron and was letting me know all about it. Quite unprofessional. Definitely wouldn’t recommend unless you are getting a super good deal.

This hotel is very basic but it does the important things right. Great bed and bedding, clean and well-maintained, very nice staff, good coffee and breakfast and housekeeping every day, something even Marriott doesn’t offer. The suite was rather sparsely furnished and the TV didn’t offer streaming. A few outlets didn’t work. Towels are a bit thin but they did get changed daily at least. I’d book again.
