Cliffside Cottage with Ocean Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, quaint property. Only need to know is there is no dishwasher and no washer/dryer so if you use the hot tub you need to hang wets in the shower stall unless you drive into Newport and go to the laundry mat. Microwave and stove top cooking only and small fridge. You can make light meals. View is fantastic and easy access to and from the highway. This is run by a rental company not an owner, they have easy communication methods."

"Ben greeted us on arrival. Very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and had all we needed The upstairs room was noisy and disturbed us until they settled. No carpeting to soften the noise. There were no opening windows so needed to have the door open to get fresh air. The breakfast was basic but adequate. However, there was not enough space for all guests to be seated. Overall a good stay."

"Absolutely amazing ocean view from the balcony. The view made up for other shortcomings. I had trouble reaching the offsite staff at the number provided by Expedia. Left multiple messages and I finally got a message in my Expedia inbox. My reservation said I would get the door code 24 hours prior to arrival, but upon reaching the said staff, they wouldn’t give me the code until 4 pm day of arrival. So I feel the communication was difficult or lacking. Turns out the Expedia provided phone number for Sunset Haven was wrong- not sure whose fault that was. The room was a bit outdated but fairly comfortable other than no AC. That would be a problem on warmer days. Again, the view may be best we’ve ever had."
