We thought the breakfast buffet choices were limited, however the cooked breakfast was hot and plentiful. The staff were very efficient. Dinner was most enjoyable in a lovely dining room and the bar service was very good. Upon arrival we were given a room upgrade with a four poster bed, this was a lovely surprise. Parking was onsite without additional charge. If you are planning on walking the Malvern Hills this Hotel is in the perfect location.

Breakfast is a variable feast- the first attempt did not turn up, the second a requested a cheese omelette- it arrived incorporating a previously fried egg, minimal cheese and a rubbery texture. The third attempt and they were completely out of decaf tea and the fruit salad was off. Great position, clean , great quirky room and Shrewsbury is great. Won’t be staying here again though
