"Wonderful people, fantastic big rooms with a view of the beach and just all around perfect for a one-night stay when I happen to be in the area to attend a rock concert. They don't serve breakfast and check out his sharply at 10:00 so you have to make sure you have plans to eat in the morning. Doheny beach made famous in The Beach Boys song Surfing USA is right across the street, so plenty of local activities and things to enjoy. The only negative, if it's a negative ,is that it's a timeshare so they will invite you to attend some of their presentations, and of course I always feel it's relatively awkward to have to tell them no I'm not interested in that kind of thing right now.
