"We had a wonderful stay at this house and would happily book it again. The ocean views were fantastic, and the mid-century modern design gives the whole place a really relaxed, cozy feel. The layout worked great for our group — plenty of spaces for people to spread out, hang out together, or find a quiet corner, which made it ideal for six to eight friends staying together. The kitchen was a real highlight. It was well-stocked with good cookware, glassware, and utensils, so cooking for our group was easy and genuinely enjoyable. If you like to cook when you travel (and we do!) this is a great place for it. The deck and ocean view were the perfect way to start and end each day.The owners have furnished the home with Danish Modern furniture, real art, a huge collection of books, and even a piano! It's clear that you're sharing someone's real time, which makes it a truly lovely space to stay in. That said, if you have little ones, you'll want to keep an eye on them, and using coasters is a must. Having such a well-appointed space didn't take away from our stay at all. It's just something to be mindful of if you stay here.Overall, this is a comfortable, well-equipped, and beautifully designed home in a great spot. We'd stay here again."

"This was our second stay at this cottage as we love the area. Watching the tide come in and go out each day with the spectacular view of lobster boats and sail boats (as well as a gaggle of geese, ducks, Blue Herons, and Peregrine falcons) made for a very relaxing vacation. This location was perfect for the two of us and a great base camp for trips to Camden, Rockland, Damariscotta and more. Mike was available if we had any issues (we didn't) and the cottage was just right for our needs. We will definitely be back!"

"Perfectly rustic. Watching the 4th of July fireworks from the deck was a treat - as was figuring out how to set up the vintage ironing board :-)Nice location with plenty of activities nearby; nice location if you don't want to do anything but breathe in nature."

"We had a wonderful time staying at Kay's lovely home. The home is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen has everything that you need. There are beautiful views of the water. Even on the hottest days (which reached into the 90s) the house was cool and comfortable and there were lovely breezes down near the water."

"Itching to stay in a quirky, former granite quarry site? This is the place for you. We enjoyed swimming in the warmer waters of the quarry and having drinks by the “Bistro” building. The cottage has been built using reclaimed building materials, furnishings, and decorations, so this may not appeal to everyone, though we found it charming."

Sweet Home with Stunning Water Views

"The location of this home was amazing. A short five minute walk down to the cove for a dip or tide pooling, a specious lawn area for hours of frisbee, football, soccer and intense games of wiffle ball. Only a ten minute drive to any number of local spots to climb rocks, take in the views or swim, all with a stunning view from the new back deck. Stores were close by when we wanted to pick up some food or eat out. This was the perfect family vacation home and we are excited to return next year!"
